Ten Good Reasons to Keep an Old Geezer

1 Because it’s the humane thing to do.

2 He can still cut a little firewood and make kindling.

3 He can bring in the paper.

4 He can take out the garbage.

5 He can fix a leaking faucet, “sometimes”.

6 He can make you laugh, “sometimes”.

7 He can eat leftovers.

8 He can feed the dog.

9 He can put out the cat.

10 Because it’s the humane thing to do.

Come to think of it, it may be better to get a cat or a dog. You can get a neighbor kid to cut a little firewood and make kindling, take out the garbage, and fix a leaky faucet.
